Holy Cross School's all round good health

Recently combining TravelWise and Enviroschool programmes along with Nutritional Education in one great day of activities, Holy Cross School, Henderson showed a great commitment to all round good health.

As a Feet First School, students took part in a range of stations that covered topics such as Road safety, Cycling, the Walking School Bus and awareness around dogs.

At an assembly to deliver prizes for the Funky Feet competition, Maxx the TravelWise Pukeko received a wonderful welcome and happily celebrated a great day with children, staff and parents. Judging by the happy faces and enthusiastic participation the school’s message of all round health was certainly very well received and supported.
