The TravelWise Walk to School Week in Auckland gets off to a Sticky Start
Sticky TV presenters Kanoa, Sam and Drew joined in the fun at St Francis Primary in Auckland to help launch the TravelWise Walk to School Week, a competition run by the Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA), throughout the first week of March (2nd - 6th).
There are over 70 schools participating in the competition, which means that more than 28,579 students in the Auckland region will be encouraged to walk to school with a caregiver or on a Walking School Bus.
A number of other children’s television favourites including Bryan and Bobby, Matt and Dana from Studio 2, and Shortland Street star Anna Jullienne will also be joining in the fun and walking to school with students in Auckland during the course of the week.
