Wacky Walking

Hannah and Anna were skipping along the path and saw a bush covered in Icicles. It was Jack Frost. They asked him if they could ice skate. Amazingly, he said yes. He gave them some ice-skates and blew on the path to make it icy. Speedily they ice skated to school.

Early one morning Callum and Max were walking to school. Suddenly they heard a rustling noise in the bush.” Don’t move!” whispered Max, “Something’s in the bush!” Much to their amazement, an enormous Tuatara shot out of the bush and enquired,” How about if I join you on your tramp to school?”

“Sure- thing ancient reptile of New Zealand!” exclaimed Callum.

Today I slept in. I forgot it was school photos day “OH NO! I'm late! I will have to ride my wacky skate board to school!!!!”

“Please help me Gran, there are too many jumps”

“I’ll help. I ‘ll give you an enormous push so you can meet your friend on the way”

Lana and Hannah were walking down the footpath. They saw a lion costume on the way. A message was left on top saying “Free to a good home” So they picked it up and put it on. Lana was in the back and Hannah was in the front. Now they could chase all the children walking to school.

Emily and Jasmine were walking along the streets of wonder to school. Suddenly they hear a marching band. Before they knew it. The magnificent Queen came riding by on her shiny blue motorbike whilst giving her royal wave..

“What! Oma Josephina?” exclaimed Bobby “you’re riding a penny-farthing!” Yes, Bobby I am riding my old penny-farthing like I used to ride it to school”.

“Do you have a spare” politely asked Bobby.

“Yes,” answered Oma Josephina “It’s right here in my pocket.” And she pulled one out of her pocket so Bobby could join her.

Whilst we were walking to school we me a pixie. The pixie magically made winds appear on our backs. The bell was going to ring in 309 seconds so we flapped our wings so fast and flew to school in time!

 Sophie and Katyana were walking to school. Suddenly they saw a rainbow so they climbed upon it. Katyana was amazed how she could see everything but it was all miniature. She could even see the sky tower. When they reached the bottom they were still stunned at the view that there mouths remained wide open. Eventually they arrived at school after their most wonderful adventure.

One day Adam and Andrew were walking along the footpath to Greenhithe School. They meet a Kea.

Sure thing awesome bird” replied a delighted Adam.

All of a sudden this guy pop’s up out of no-where .His name is Bruce Water.

He suddenly turns the path to water and we were wearing shiny swim suits.. We swam the rest of the way to school only to meet and make friends with dolphins.

So here we are 2 friends walking to school on this sunny day when out of nowhere we find an injured baby morepork crying for help. We kneel down 2 pick him up. To our amazement there is a whole nest of baby morepork chicks above us. The mother squawks 2 show her gratitude. I smile @my friend. She smiles back. We wished we had a camera.

Asterix and Robby always walked to school but today was different. Before they knew it had turned into Kauri Snails.

“Slither me slime. We ‘ll get fit this way”

“HERE SHE COMES!” slobbered Asterix

“Who?” cried Robby
“The Queen is here? Yahoo! Open the castle gates!” exclaimed Asterix

Did you know the Kauri snail is carnivorous and cannibalistic towards earthworms, insects and snails?

Jack Frost is giving Joshua and Adam a skate board to travel to school

Jack Frost icily whispered ‘I will make an ICY path for you to skate on”

Guess what we saw just as we were about to walk on the zebra crossing…?

A zebra skipping across! Our eyes almost popped out of our heads.

To our amazement the zebra neighed “come walk with me to school”

It was a jumble when they all arrived at school. Proudly they shared what unusual thing’s happened to them. It was very odd. Wacky even…! Now everyone at Greenhithe School wants to walk to school looking for strange adventures.
