Whangaparaoa School have fancy feet

On April 3rd, Whangaparaoa School held their annual Fancy Feet Day.

Students created their own "walkable art" competition, decorating their feet and/or shoes and everyone had a chance to "do their little turn on the catwalk" along with some great beats!

The look this season - anything goes! There was a huge variety of materials and themes on display including tinsel and tassles, butterflies and google eyes, piggies and pompoms, pipecleaners, spiders and wormies, grasses and flowers, polka dots and even aboriginal spots!!

Thanks to the Teachers and the Principal for organising the event, especially Mrs Thompson whose colourful decorations and prizes made the morning extra special! And thanks also to all the students and parents who put so much time and energy into their creations.
