Arataki School House Leadership

Arataki School House Leadership

The House leaders at Arataki School have decided to boost numbers of thosewalking at their school by getting the message out through their visits to the classes and updating the Feet First noticeboard. The noticeboard was first a challenge at the TravelSmart workshop in Term 3.

They challenge each of their four houses to walk, cycle, scooter or skateboard to school on Feet First Wednesdays. Yellow House has been leading the way but as we head into Term 4 the other three houses are beginning to challenge Yellow House.

The House leaders are beginning to see an increase in walking, cycling, skateboarding and scootering on Wednesdays. They are excited that their message is reaching the students and are keen to further encourage others. They have a message for Arataki students – “You rock! Keep up the challenge! Come on Green, Blue and Red House you can topple Yellow off their perch!”
