Les Howat at Mount Maunganui Primary school called for applications from senior students to apply for the position of Travel Safe Tallyists. The result of which the school now have eight enthusiastic students who are being upskilled to collect and input the Feet first data once a week every week.
Our enthusiastic senior students have captured their thoughts to share with you after Term 1.
Danielle - "I like collecting and writing the numbers on the tally sheet".
Samantha and Mikayla - "We really like giving stamps with Ruben the Road safety Bear at the Feet First launch."
Mia and Emily - "IWe enjoy collecting the data from the classrooms."
Jordan and Matthew - "We enjoy ebverything about our role."
Shania - "I like learning how to work out the percentages for each of the classes."
