Sports vouchers for schools
Students at Otumoetai Primary school take part in Feet First Wednesdays. Last term they won a $500 sports voucher from NZTA’s Feet First Every Week. They invited Michael O’Neill from NZTA into their school to thank the agency.
Thanks to the prize the school has new dodge balls, soccer balls, cricket balls, sports bins and spike balls. The students shared their experiences in promoting Feet First Every Wednesday at their school and the Kids on Feet buses. They presented thank you letters to NZTA and Tauranga City Council for supporting them.
