Students at Gate Pa asked Tauranga National MP Simon Bridges three questions about going to school. Follow the rest of the story for his interesting answers.
It left me wondering what other New Zealand MP’s might have experienced during their school days? Maybe other Feet First schools have some stories?
What school(s) did you used to go to?
Simon went to:- Rutherford Primary School
Te Atatu Intermediate
Rutherford College
How did you used to go to school?
For primary school I walked
I biked to intermediate and walked to college sometimes skateboarding
Do you have a memory of going to and from school (or something you experienced)?
When I was at Rutherford Primary I went one way to school and one day there was a huge Doberman dog which scared me so much I wouldn’t go that way anymore and changed my route.
Also I recall that although it wasn’t too and from school, I went to cubs and had to walk home but was really scared of the dark!
