A poem about scootering

A poem about scootering

A poem by Oliver Sergel, a year 5 pupil of Waimairi School, who scooters every day to school with another family while his sister scooters to Intermediate and his Mum bikes to work on the other side of town. What a great example they set!

Scootering to School

Creek from the Door

Bang from the Gate

Yell from my Sister

Clink Clunk from my Scooter

Clip clop from feet hitting the Ground

Rrrrrm –Cars starting up

Signs Out from the Lollipops

Yells from people at school

Ring goes the Bell

Now everyone is silent

Oliver Sergel (9)
