Glowing Waimairi
Waimairi children are making themselves as visible as possible on their active journeys to school. The Waimairi School Travel Plan coordinator has been promoting high-viz vests, which are made right here in Canterbury, to adults and children keen to improve their visibility and safety as they travel by bike, scooter or on foot. (One lucky Dad even got one for Father's Day!) The vests are light weight, fit right over a back pack and can be stored easily when not in use.
