On the 14th, 24 th and 30th of June teachers and Council staff from around the NZ, attended Feet First curriculum resource workshops in Wellington. Tauranga and Rodney.
Pam Hook and Julie Mills from Hooked on Thinking worked with teachers to understand the Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes (SOLO Taxonomy Biggs, J. & Collis, K. (1982).) while using the adaptable Feet First resources
The Feet First resources have been developed to be consistent with the eight New Zealand Curriculum Principles. Each Feet First Learning Area Resource includes Values and Key Competenciesto be encouraged modelled and explored, also included are self-assessment rubrics designed using the SOLO Taxonomy.
