Pancake is coming
Pancake is coming
Students from Otonga School in Rotorua are launching their own picture book – Pancake’s Lucky Adventure - on Wednesday 24 February.
The Room 2, Year 2 students won a Feet First competition in November to professionally publish a picture book on active travel, written and illustrated by them.
Since winning, the students have worked with a professional picture book editor Don Long and picture book illustrator Ali Teo to prepare their book for publication. A copy of the book will also be sent to every primary school library in New Zealand.
The book launch is being held at Otonga School where students will read from their work to the assembly.
