5 walking school buses
5 walking school buses
Raumati Beach School has set up 5 walking school buses. It kicked off at the beginning of term 4 and they have 81 students participating with more wanting to join in each week.
Each bus comes from a different direction, picking up kids on the way. The kids think its great way to get to school and the
parents have found it a great way to get the kids to school and that if each parent takes a turn it works out well for everyone.
Kapiti Coast District Council handed out certificates to the children at the school assembly on Friday, congratulating them on walking to school so often and to keep up the good work
