Think Again-Make a Difference
Marsden Collegiate of Wellington have undertaken a 3 day symposium looking at the impact of traffic and transport from a safe and sustainable perspective.
The project Think Again - Make a difference has involved all of year 8 students in a wide variety of Inquiry projects.
The symposium encompassed a three day programme of study in the form of a Creative Inquiry across a range of curricula, using as a starting point,the NZTA education programme’s curriculum aligned resources. The students specifically investigated travel - combining traffic usage and safety issues both within and around the school community and it is anticipated that the results of the Symposium may contribute to a School Travel Plan for Marsden.
