Walking School Bus/School Travel Plan

Walking School Bus/School Travel Plan

Walking School Buses are a fun, safe, active way for children to get to and from school with adult supervision.

They can also relieve car congestion at school gates.

Each 'bus' walks along a set route with at least one adult 'driver' picking up children at designated 'bus stops' and walking them to and from school.

You can download the Walking School Bus Resources updated November 2009 here:

Download the Walking School Bus coordinator's guide to see how to get started.

Download a leaflet about Walking School Buses to share with your school.
