Waimairi wanders wiggles and wobbles
Waimairi School kids walk, scoot, blade, ride, rip-stick, wave-board and even unicycle to school as part of our active travel plan. Here Jordan (aged 8) is demonstrating the skill that he has been practicing since the end of last year. What a great effort! On Living Streets Aotearoa Walk to Work Day (March 10) some families timed their journey, on foot, to school and others counted the number of steps they took. One family took 8 minutes to make 483 steps!
